Internal user notifications

What you and your team get notified about when working in Almox.

What triggers a notification for you

  • A client sends a chat message in a chat you're part of
  • Someone @mentions you anywhere
  • A task is assigned to you, or a task you're assigned to is updated
  • An invoice you sent gets paid
  • A contract you sent gets signed (or declined)
  • A form you sent gets submitted
  • A feedback project you're watching has a new comment

Where notifications show up

  • In-app: the bell icon at the top of your workspace shows recent notifications and unread counts
  • Email: sent for events that have email enabled in your settings

Tuning what you get emailed about

A small set of email categories can be toggled in your workspace's notification settings:

  • New messages
  • Invoice payments
  • Invoice responses (approved/declined)
  • Reminder activations

These are workspace-level toggles, they affect every internal user's email behavior for those events, not per-user.

Notifications for your team

Other internal users (admins, members) get notifications based on what they're part of, chats they're in, tasks assigned to them, etc. Members don't see notifications for things they don't have access to.
